Height Matters

Last fall, the riding boot was all the rage. This fall, mind you the riding boot is still relevant, but the shorter booties are going to take main stage. So really, all heights are in this fall. I have recently found an issue in boots of all heights. Here's the problem: there is certain height of boots that gives you no ankle and are terribly unflattering. The short booties give you a nice little ankle and can be absolutely adorable. The riding boots are just all around fabulous. But that mid height boots are a no go. Par example:

Low booties: gives you an ankle and are so precious.

Taller boots: always fabulous.

Mid-Boot: swing and a miss. See how it looks like this tiny little girl has fat calves? No go.
