First off is Shenae Grimes in a custom Amanda Lew Kee dress. Angelina Jolie started a huge trend. The high leg slit is everywhere. Here though, Shenae took it too far. When she walked, the middle part fell back and got stuck between her legs. This dress would have worked if she could have stood still the whole night, but alas. Shenae gets a 5 out of 10 from me.
I give Katy Perry a an 8 out of 10. The dress is gorgeous, but the hair has got to go. The bangs are too short and the color to weird, for my taste. The dress is by a local Toronto designer, Vawk. Kudos to her for buying local.
Oh poor thing. Up and coming singer, Lights, has super cool music, but not so cool style. This dress looks like an oversized tank. This dress should be worn to see a movie, not to an awards show. She really should have stepped it up for this event. I give her a 2.
Nelly Furtado... swing and a miss. This dress is completely unflattering. Ms. Furtado gets a 1.
Selena Gomez, in Roberto Cavalli, rocked it. I guess you can really rock anything when you're 16 and can eat whatever you want and stay a size 0. Just wait little missy, just wait. For the good news, she wins my vote with a 9 out of 10!
